About Us

College for ME-Androscoggin is a regional collaborative with an ambitious goal: Double the number of college degree holders in Androscoggin County, Maine, by 2015.

The effort started in 2005 when business, education, community and government leaders in central Maine began working together to help expand post-secondary education attainment, recognizing that it empowers individuals and ensures the future quality of life in our community.

Our efforts have garnered dozens of partners and is now known as College for ME-Androscoggin, which offers a host of college aspirations and degree attainment initiatives designed to help grow a college-going culture among the 104,000 residents who live throughout our 500-square mile region.
